He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Leighton and Anna Leighton (Blood); and his brother Jack Leighton. He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Egge; his children, Jon Leighton (Donna) of Lake City, MN, Julie Blumer (Don) of Fountain, MN and Janae Monnet (Dan) of Rochester, MN; his grandchildren, Nicole Gerber (Karl), Corey Leighton (Bailey), Jessica Leighton (Bryan), Justin Blumer, Jenna Blumer, Taylor Monnet (Dillon) and Lindsey Monnet; his great grandchild Karlee Gerber; his sister Betty Schuster (Phil) of Kasson, MN; and his sister-in-law Marian Leighton of Cedar Falls, IA.
