He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bierbaum and Magdalena Bierbaum (Hammel); his sister Bernice; his brother-in-law Russell Heins; his sister Marilyn; and his brother-in-law Harold Frost.
He is survived by: his children, Renae Highum (Mark), Steve Bierbaum (Penee) and Gary Bierbaum (Julie); his grandchildren, Amie Burgess (Adam), Erik Highum (Barb), Jaya, Lynn, Tessa, Josie and Max Bierbaum; and his siblings, Avis James (Vermon) and Roger Bierbaum (Dolores). He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
