He is survived by: his father Joseph Heins; his wife Julie Heins (Cushman); his children, Tyler Hoeft (Allison Lipetzky), Jessica Hoeft (Bryce Streitmatter) and Conner Hoeft; his grandson Micah Streitmatter; and his sister Terri Broadwater (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
