She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Waits and Helen Waits (Puffenburger); and her siblings, Janet, Linda and Denny.
She is survived by: her significant other Mark Engel; her daughter Tina Schultz (David); her grandchildren, Danielle Timm (Brandon Silker), Skye Nelson (Samuel Gochnauer) and Jayce Nelson (Kallijo Gleason); her great grandchildren, Stella, Mia and William; her stepmother Louise Houghton; and her siblings, Brad Waits (Angela), Jeff Waits (Karen), Barbara Walters (David) and Charlotte Buck (Mark). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
