He is survived by: his wife Laurie Mickow of Eyota; his children, Brenna French (John) of Sibley, IA, LeeAnn Strain (Bryce) of Eyota and Wyatt Mickow of Eyota; his grandchildren, Kendall, Brock Strain and Elizabeth French; his mother Carol Schroeder (Peterson) of Elgin; his siblings, Barb Benjamin (Dennis) of Owatonna, Brenda Loos (Roger) of Millville and Blaine Mickow (Julie) of Plainview; and his mother-in-law Betty Reynolds of Eyota.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (903 Robert Ave, Eyota, MN 55934).
