He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvan E. Larson and Irene V. Larson (Boettcher); and his brother Harvey P. Larson. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Larson; his children, Ryan Larson (Molly Smith), Rachel McDougall, Kristin (Jayson Babler) and Matthew (Brenna Larson); his brother Ralph Larson; and his grandchildren, Allie, Liam and Emma.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Golden Gopher Fund, 516 15th Ave. SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455, and directed to the "Merv & Melissa Larson Scholarship", which benefits the Gopher Softball program.
