Matthew Hunter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Hunter (Excelsior, Minnesota), who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Sue Hunter; and his pet Cooper. He is survived by: his father Tim Hunter; his wife Ashley Hunter (Brausen); his stepfather Phil Semeizer; his brother Tom Hunter (Laura); his stepsiblings, Chris Semeizer (Julie) and Lori Johnson (Craig); and his godchildren, Addyson, Sophia and Mason. He is also survived by two nieces, one nephew and seven step nieces.

Our family requests face masks for non-vaccinated individuals for the health and safety of our family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Ashley would like to help fund a cancer family in need or a non-profit of her choice.
