He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Niemeier and Ramona Niemeier; and his sister Gayleen Sternberg. He is survived by: his significant other Betsy (Russell); his children, Jim (Jennifer), Kathryn Henriksen (Jonathan) and David (Kristina); his grandchildren, Jack, Joe, Fiona, Ariana, Hudson and Graham; his siblings, Nona and Brad (Eileen); his brother-in-law Randy Sternberg; and his caregivers, Sarah and Josh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
