With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph J. Froehling in Excelsior, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew and Frances; and his siblings, Bernice, Eldred, Eugene and Diane.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie; his children, Ron (Lisa), Dave (Shelley), Randy (Linda), Rick (Cindy) and Kristi (Dave); his siblings, Donald and Margaret; his sisters-in-law, Leila Froehling, Margaret Froehling and Betty Lou Hoeft; his grandchildren, Leah, Shana, Jimmy Froehling (Katie), Christina Sullivan (Jason), Joey Froehling (Sarah), Hannah, Rachel Froehling, Alli Dubowski (Brian), Kate Bell (Nate), Jack Sandstrom (Lauren) and Maxx Sandstrom (Moriah); and his great grandchildren, Mavis Froehling, Alyssa, Kylie Sullivan, Madison, Amelia Dubowski, Ruby, Walter Bell and Ava Sandstrom. He is also survived by family members with the relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (680 Mill St, Shorewood, MN 55331). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
