He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Thompson and Luella Thompson; his wife Bonnie; his daughters, Tracy Peterson (Tim), Tammy Hendricks (Tim) and Trina Kettelhut (Mark); his grandchildren, Tyler, Gabriel, Jacob Lu, Madeline, Grace, Colton (Abby), Paige and Maren; his great grandchild Caroline; and his siblings, Jane Morgan (Ken) and Dick Thompson (Jeanne).

Family requests that memorials are sent to hospice services through the Park Nicollet Foundation.
