He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Burns and Donald Burns. He is survived by: his wife Debra Burns; his sons, Michael Burns (Cassandra) and Thomas Burns (Megan); his siblings, Katy Wright (Mike), Dan Burns (Linda) and Mary Devries (Brian); and his grandchildren, Micah, Noah, Stella, Donovan, Shiloh, Brooklyn, Eliza and Joelle.
