He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schroeder and Ottalee Schroeder of Excelsior, MN; his wife Ruth; and his siblings, Lincoln Schroeder, Virginia Beede and Lucilla Schroeder.
He is survived by: his brother Donald Schroeder of Norman, OK; and his children, Dr. Frederick Schroeder, Louise Dowling, Nora Pearson (John) and Beth Green (Carter). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
