He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Bernd and Adeline Bernd (Lundy); his wife Cherie; and his sister Dorothy. He is survived by: his pet Ms Dove; his daughters, Tammie, Kim (Lonny) and Karen (Mark); his grandchildren, Jon (Christy), Cole (Jess) and Bailee (Steven); his great grandchildren, Morgan, Elli, Aubree, Stella and Blaire; his brothers, John "Jack" (Elaine) and Stephen (Mary); and his sisters-in-law, Donna Wood and Bonnie Wood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
