He is survived by: his mother Arlene Preble of Virginia; his son Adam Preble (Kari) of Duluth; his wife Betty Heikkila; his siblings, Linda Quinn (David) of Nebraska, Sherman Preble Jr. of Vermont, Jeffrey Preble (Tanya) of Minneapolis and David Preble (Gwen) of Roseville; and his siblings-in-law, Marge Smith (Scott), Elaine Heikkila (Gary Simek), Dar Beard (Mike), Kay Heikkila and Rick Stefanich. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
