She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ericson and Sylvia Ericson; her husband Herman Hinseth; her daughter Gloria; her siblings, Frances and Paul Ericson; and her daughter-in-law Regina Hinseth.

She is survived by: her children, Bradley Hinseth, Channah Grace Hinseth, Virginia Mellema (Robert) and Christopher Hinseth; her grandchildren, Ryan Mellema (Angela), Alicyn Mellema, Phillip Hinseth, Joshua Rohr, Preston Hinseth (Solveig), Kyle Hinseth, Isabella Hinseth, Claire Mellema and Katie Pierce (Eli); and her great grandchildren, Roman and Luella Mellema.
