It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Walfrid Kuopus of Eveleth, Minnesota, born in Calumet, Michigan, who passed away on August 3, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walfrid Kuopus and Cecelia DeNault (Parsons); his stepfather Carl DeNault; and his brother William Wade Kuopus. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kuopus; his siblings, Lynn Maki (Donald) and Philip Kuopus (Diana); his children, Ryan Kuopus, James Kuopus, Chad Sokoloski (Tina Anderson), Jason Sokoloski (Kristin) and Rachel Price (Roy Olson); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Marissa, Spencer, Dakota, Tanner and Rylie. He is also survived by three great grandchildren and many other relatives and great friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Disabled American Veterans.
