He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey (Ginger) of Grand Rapids, Roger (Jill) of Apple Valley and LeeAnn of Hibbing; his grandchildren, Sarah Pearson (Jeff), Megan Belcher (Bryan), Joshua, Hilary and Zachary Parlanti; his great grandchildren, Emilia and Olivia; his sister Christina Maki (Bill); and his son Johnny Ek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
