He is survived by: his daughter Sonja Monroe of Colorado; his grandsons, Zackery Hopkins and Skyler Monroe; his daughter April Nelson of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Jordan Nelson, Zachary Childs (Nevada) and Sarah Smith (Lucas); his sister Lorraine Glatch; and his sisters-in-law, Chris Cossalter (Denny) and Kathy Lawson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
