It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Luukkonen (Eveleth, Minnesota), who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tomljenovich and Mary Tomljenovich (Klobuchar); her husband Warner Luukkonen; and her siblings, Michael, Peter and Rosie.
She is survived by: her sisters, Millie and Marilyn Bandelow; her son Roger "Casey" Luukkonen (Patty) of Eveleth; her grandchildren, Casey, Levi, Callie, Corey and Billy; her daughter Sharon Greenwood (Steve) of Hibbing; her grandchildren, Serina (Joe) and Sasha (Nate); her son Robert Luukkonen (Patricia) of Mountain Iron; her grandchildren, Robecca (Ryan), Emily, Katie, Joshua and Ashley; and her close friend Angela. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
