It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Gulbranson of Eveleth, Minnesota, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludvig Gulbranson and Marie Gulbranson (Korpi); his wife Marlene Jones; his sons, Larry and Loren "Babe" Gulbranson; and his siblings, Suzanne Gulbranson, Verna Sedgeman, Lorna Mattila and Gordy Gulbranson.
He is survived by: his sons, Lyle (Cindy) of Eveleth, Lee of Gilbert and Lenny of Eveleth; his grandchildren, Allison MacLeod (Derek Reque), Luke Gulbranson, Brooke Bernard (Jake), Paige Bobb, Hannah Gulbranson and Linnea Gulbranson; his great grandchildren, Bristol, Ember Bernard and Owen Bobb; and his siblings, Nancy Maunu of Aurora, Gary Gulbranson (Sally) of Anchorage, AK and Linda Starc (Anthony "Sonny") of Eveleth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
