He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Palo, (Jamnik) and John Palo, Sr.; his sisters, Rosemary Bontems (Joseph), Betty Ann Staudahar (Frank) and Theresa; and his nephew Mark Bontems (Debbie).
He is survived by: his niece Linda Staudahar; his children, Stephen (Debbie) of The Villages, FL, Brenda of St. Paul, Joseph (Nicole) of Biwabik and Daniel (Jennifer) of Murrieta, CA; and his grandchildren, Rylie Radtke (Steve), Claire, Lydia, Isabelle, Camden and Sylvie Palo.
