It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Lund of Eveleth, Minnesota, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Lund and Olga Lund (Anderson); and his sisters, Solveig, Ruthie and Ella May.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Sokoloski; his sons, Duane Lund (Linda) of Aurora and Hans Lund of Silver Bay; his grandchildren, Alyssa Leese (Jeff) of Gilbert, Tyler Lund (Ashley Vogh) of Aurora and McKenna Lund of Chippewa Falls, WI; his great grandchildren, Brayden Celley, Leni and Brooks Leese; and his sister Mariann Isakson of Duluth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are kindly preferred in lieu of flowers.
