As Joan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her brother John Arneson. She is survived by: her sons, Wes Arneson, Tim Smerud and Jeff Smerud; and her brother David Arneson. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, extended relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the ZIM Community Center.
