She is survived by: her sons, Jon McCarty of Wellington, NV and Tim McCarty (Helen) of Eveleth; her sister Joyce Chapman of Virginia; her grandchildren, Meridith Heitzman (Cory), Matthew McCarty, Michael McCarty, Johnny McCarty (Kristin), Mark Thorsvik (Terri), Luann Wasbotten (Tony) and Chris McCarty (Victoria); and her great grandchildren, Reese, Natalie, Tyler, Ethan, Chase, Owen, Jonah, Brennan, Ian, Colin and Fiona. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
