It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Robert Hyppa of Eveleth, Minnesota, born in Cook, Minnesota, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin W. Hyppa and Marion D. Hyppa (Heikkinen); his brother William "Billy"; and his granddaughter Kendra Hyppa. He is survived by: his wife Diane Marie Garrity; his children, Linda Benson (Bob) of Eveleth, Greg Hyppa (Lori) of St. Louis Park and Sue Adams of Eveleth; his grandchildren, Chrissy, Sarah, Shelly, Nate, Haley and Hannah; and his sister LaVerne "Lovey" Prebarich. He is also survived by family; other extended families and friends.
