He was predeceased by: his son John; and his brothers, William, LeRoy and Donald. He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Hammitt; his children, Heather and Brian; and his siblings, Bruce Bennett (Claudia), Gary Bennett (Judy) and Linda Salo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
