She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zupancic and Avis Zupancic (Veralrud). She is survived by: her husband Ronald Carpenter; her daughter Ronda Puzel (James J. J.) of Ely; her granddaughter Kaelyn; her aunt Alice Schweiger; and her siblings, Ramona Knutson (Gene) and John Zupancic (Claudia). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
