He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Tuuri and Hulda Tuuri (Hakala); his son Mark Tuuri; and his brother Kenneth Tuuri. He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Nemanick; his wife Pat Tuuri; his children, Kevin Tuuri (Angela) of Coeur, Tim Tuuri (Tina), Mary Derby of Walla Walla, WA, Janice Maple (Joe) of Minneapolis and Jennifer Saybolt (Jim) of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Alex Tuuri (Christy), Jason Tuuri (Sarah), Allison Tuuri, Juliet Zareski (Connor), Simon Derby (Taela), Ryan Tuuri, Frankie Maple, Faye Saybolt and Lucinda Saybolt; and his great grandchildren, Abigail Zareski and Josephine Tuuri. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
