He is survived by: his parents, Clarence Burkey and Hattie Burkey (Pederson); his children, Suzanne Martin (James) and Lee Burkey (Terese); his grandchildren, Melissa Johnson, Andrea Miller (Ben), Justine Martin, Jason Martin (Katlyn), Mitchell Burkey, Kale Burkey (Julie) and Brittney Dale (Tim); and his sister-in-law Nancy Malik of Darien.
