He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wiita and Hilda Wiita; his brother Bob; his sister-in-law Diane Wiita; and his sister Doris Latrielle.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie McColley-Wiita; his children, Terry Wiita, Diane Wiita, Sherrill Forsberg (John), Colleen Grundhoff (Alex) and JoAnne Wiita (Steve); his stepchildren, Travis, Chad and Jaime; and his grandchildren, Christopher (Alicia), Brittany (Kaleb), Linda, Shelly, Farrah and David. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
