It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerian A. Turcotte (Esko, Minnesota), born in Cloquet, Minnesota, who passed away on August 17, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Turcotte and Viola Turcotte (Northrup); and his daughter-in-law Jana Bown. He is survived by: his wife Karen Dutcher; and his children, Sandra Turcotte, Donna Bunten, Lou Bown (Colleen), Andy Bown, Julie Frerichs, Mike Bown (Becky), Vicki Turcotte (Jaime Schloesser) and Valerie Hoppe (Robert). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
