He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Felstrup and Matilda Felstrup (Johnson); his wife Winifred "Freddie" Taylor; his brother Carl; and his daughter Kristen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn "Lyndee" Smerdon of Grants Pass, OR, Andrea Councilman (Jim) of Jackson, OH and Deven Hight (Mike) of Chugiak, AK; and his grandchildren, Jeff Smerdon (Rhonda), Chris Smerdon, Jennifer Cain (Lydle), Cory Councilman (Erin), Jessie Hopper (Scott) and Jackie Blow (Michael). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
