It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella Joan Thompson (Esko, Minnesota), born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on September 11, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Frank, Stanley, Marie Bassa (Phil), Irene Bassa (Ted), Florence Lofald (Marvin), Dorothy Bussa (Edward) and Margaret Pederson.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur Thompson; her children, Terry Thompson and Leeanne Baker (John); her grandchildren, Naomi Bents (Nathan), Ian Thompson (Tara), Derek Baker (Jessica Stevenson) and Andrew Baker; her great grandchildren, Ashlyn Bents, Jeremiah Bents and Lilly Baker; her brother Wallace Janczak (Eileen); and her siblings-in-law, Howard Pederson, Stanley Thompson (Shirley), Genevieve Thompson and Charlene Thompson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
