It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Pykkonen (Esko, Minnesota), who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Pykkonen and Hulda Mary Pykkonen (Helberg); his wife Ardeth Pykkonen (Malluege); his sisters, Helen Koski and Milly Virgin; and his brothers-in-law, Tom McKeever and Paul Koski.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Pykkonen (Lynn) of Laporte, MN, Susan Nelson (John) of Burnsville, MN and Brent Pykkonen (Leah); his sisters, Edna McKeever and Mavis Singpiel (Richard); and his friend Dr. Alkaied. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the St. Matthews 1918 Memorial Fund and the American Cancer Society.
