With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dean R. Thompson of Esko, Minnesota, born in Ellendale, North Dakota, who passed away on October 10, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ron Thompson and Priscilla Thompson (Longtin); his wife Shirley Bennett; and his former wife Wendy Turnquist. He is survived by: his sons, Erik Thompson (Heidi) and Michael Thompson (Lori); his stepsons, Craig Bennett (Donielle), Derek Bennett (Hollie) and Tad Bennett (Rachelle); and his siblings, Catherine Thompson (Sariah), Mary Tyman (Tom), David Thompson, Dale Thompson (Angie) and Stacy Olson (Craig). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
