She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Hill and Senja Hill; her husband Elden; her great grandchildren, Alyssa and Anikka Raivala; her children, Mel (Lisa), Kenny (Marianne), Gerry, Doris Tuura (Rick), Mary Hepokoski (Dan), Barb Luke (Morrie) and Dave (Tina); and her grandchildren, Melissa Patsch (Nate), Olivia Cox (Marcus), Joanna, Lindsay Townsend (Matt), April Peterson, Kyle Kauma, Mikaela Kauma, Lydia Raivala (Jeff), Jessica Jokinen (Michael), Joe Tuura, Jacob Tuura, Andrea Tuura, Eric Tuura, Leila Tuura, Laura Pekuri (Jerod), Megan Hepokoski, Anna Hepokoski, Danielle Armbruster (Austin), Corey Kauma and Brandon Kauma. She was also cherished by 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of brothers and sisters.
