With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Engen (Erskine, Minnesota), born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on September 23, 2019 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Garthus and Helen Garthus (Monson); her brothers, Jay and Joe Garthus; and her sister-in-law Janet Garthus.
She is survived by: her spouse Eldor "Butch" Engen; her sons, Lowell Engen (Jennifer) of Argyle, MN, Donald Engen (Connie) of Newfolden, MN and Steve Engen (Celeste) of Karlstad, MN; her grandchildren, Luca, Zada, Brody, Alison, Carrie (David) and Justin; her great grandchild Cameron; her brother Kenneth Garthus; and her sister-in-law Carol Garthus. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
