We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2023, at the age of 79, Chris Engebretsen of Erskine, Minnesota, born in Fosston, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Engebretsen and Irene Engebretsen (Wicken); his wife Joan Larson; his parents-in-law, Vern and Jo Larson (Efraimson); his brothers-in-law, Bill Larson and Tom Larson; his niece Sharon Bjerke Stoller; and his nephew Steve Bjerke.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Engebretsen (Lorie) of Horace, ND, Mike Engebretsen (Lynn) of Erskine, MN and Joann Greendahl (Pat) of Bemidji, MN; his grandchildren, Katelynn Kutter (Dylan), Kortney Clarke (Brady), Hailley Engebretsen, Ryan Greendahl (Larissa), Alexa Greendahl and Will Greendahl; his great grandchildren, Kroix Kutter, Kallen Kutter, Emma Greendahl and Odin Greendahl; his sister Eileen Rhen (Russ); and his sisters-in-law, Lois Bjerke (Ken) and Margaret Larson. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.
