He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Faugstad and Aasa Faugstad (Stanghelle); his brother Nels; his sister-in-law Camilla Faugstad; his siblings, Arnold Faugstad, Conrad Faugstad and Signe; and his brothers-in-law, Harry Olson and Arnold Halverson.
He is survived by: his wife Adela (Halverson); his grandchildren, Rebekah Mueller (Christopher), Jesse Faugstad (Andrea), Marta Johnson (Luke), Aaron Faugstad, Julia Ulrich (Benjamin), Hannah Barrott, Sophia Abbey (Scott), Timothy Faugstad (Jayde), Mia Faugstad, Victoria Charlson, Hailey Charlson, Niles Charlson, Jenna Charlson, Corrin Charlson, Rory Sweney and Toby Sweney; his great grandchildren, Emmaline, Lydia, Abigail, Christopher, Samuel Mueller, Anders, Karsten Faugstad and Ada Abbey; and his siblings-in-law, Esther Faugstad, Louise Burley (Harlan), Phyllis Kruger (Robert), Stanley Halverson (Linda), Margaret Sims (Jerry) and Gary Halverson (Jean).
Due to state and federal guidance concerning COVID-19, a private funeral and committal will take place at the Scarville Synod Lutheran Church and Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Scarville Synod Lutheran Church and School.
