She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John H. Kruse; her sister Patricia Carlson (Don); her children, John Michael Kruse (Theresa R.), Karen Therese Ouellette (Joseph) and Kristine Marie Schreder (Daniel); her grandchildren, Katie Tungseth (Luke), Paul Ouellette (Brittany), Karie Schwenzfeier (Aaron), Thomas Schreder (Katelyn), Matthew Schreder, James Kruse and Michael A. Kruse; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Joey, Brayden, Gage, Harrison and Tristan; her parents, Adelaide Hammang and Elroy Hammang; her brother Jack Hammang; and her nephews, Mark Hammang and Cory Carlson. She was also cherished by several brothers and sisters-in-law.
