With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Cecelia Iverson of Emily, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 92. As Ruby departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ruby. Though Ruby may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh McSherry and Pearl McSherry (Robertson); her husband Donald Iverson; her daughter Peggy Iverson; and her brothers, Hugh McSherry Jr., Allen McSherry and John McSherry.
She is survived by: her children, Donald F. Iverson of Emily, Rev. Dyan Dietz (Michael) of Denton, TX and Theresa Russell of Emily; and her sister-in-law Karen McSherry of St. Paul. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
