He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Nevala and Lempi Nevala; his wife Dolly; his children, Linda Dale (Ron), Steven, Daryl and Bruce; and his siblings, Howard, Clifford, Florence Oksa, Ervin, Carol Tonnancour, Joan Krogstad and Larry.
He is survived by: his son Lyle Nevala; his son-in-law Ronald Dale; and his grandchildren, Leslie Brunfelt (Brad), Tia Moyer (Scott), Cari Hoffman, Megan Nevala-Plagemann, Christopher Nevala-Plagemann (Kayla) and Jonathan Nevala-Plagemann. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
