We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2023, at the age of 94, Irene Hilda Sipola of Embarrass, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emil Harju and Ida Harju; her sons, Steven (Carole) of Embarrass and Charles (Sandra Makkyla) of Babbitt; her grandchildren, Diana Moore (Roger) of Virginia, Brandon Sipola (Amy), Joshua Sipola (Julie), Alicia Hansen (Mark), Gina Millis (Ryan), Jennifer Templeman (Jay), Zachary Wagenbach (Brittany Karnik), Alex Makkyla, Maija Sipola and Derek Lamppa; her great grandchildren, Luke, Kaitlin and Linnea; her grandchildren, Julia, Josie, Jenna, Jamie and Taylor; her husband Bill Sipola; her sister Viola Ellis; and her granddaughter Tami Sipola.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Edgewood Vista for caring for Mom, particularly during the COVID lockdown.
