He was predeceased by: his parents, Melford Trangsrud and Mabel Trangsrud; his wife JoAnn Solberg; his brother Marvin Trangsrud (Helen); his nephews, Dallas Trangsrud and Mike Solberg; his great-niece Nora Munstenteiger; his brother Gene; his sister-in-law Shirley Scott; and his parents-in-law, Earl and Edith Solberg.
He is survived by: his children, Mark of Blaine, Bradley (Sue) of Embarrass, Kelly of Roseau and Julie of Sanford, Florida.; his grandchildren, Carrie (Paul), Sarah (Brian), Donovan (Natasha), Andrew, Katie (Christian) and Emily; his great grandchildren, Tanner, Dillon, Breydon, Jacob, Annabelle, Colin, Evie Mae and Mariah; his brother-in-law Ron Solberg; and his siblings, Julian, Milo and Elna.
