He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Bailey; his children, Teresa Dolinar (Mike) of Soudan, MN, Rodney Girard (Chong) of Highland Lake, NY, Vernon Girard of Princeton, MN, Kenneth Girard of Embarrass and James Girard (Yolanda Rood) of Brooklyn Center, MN.; his granddaughters, Amanda Kehus (Alex Marwick), Hana Garlipp (Kai), Chyanne Girard (Casey Zins), Brandice Girard (Chris Duncan) and Liliah Girard; and his great grandchildren, Bellamy Girard and Rowan Zins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evangelical Free Church of Embarrass (5606 Taylor Rd, Embarrass, MN 55731).
