He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Halvorson and Jenevieve Halvorson (Moseng); and his niece Kari Engebretson. He is survived by: his wife Paula Jaus of Elysian; his children, Erik Halvorson (Brittnay Weerts) of Montevideo, Kendra Halvorson of Brooklyn Park, Keira Nicholson (John) of Lakeville and Kurt Halvorson of Duluth; his grandchildren, Hailey Halvorson, Daija Halvorson, Miley Tweeter, Marilyn Olson, Aubrey Halvorson, Finlay Nicholson and Wesley Halvorson; and his siblings, DeLain Engebretson of Dawson and Rick Halvorson (Barbara) of Madison.
