He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Francis and Betty Lou O'Malley (Bartelt); his father-in-law Daniel Sinclair; and his brother-in-law Denis Boettcher. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo O'Malley of Elysian; his children, Mike O'Malley (Kelly) of Le Center, Sara O'Malley (Adam Nelson) of Le Center and Shawn O'Malley (Eric Erickson) of Le Center; his grandchildren, Daniel, Megan, Dawson, Molly, Brenna, Nolan, Ruthie and Maggie; and his sisters, Colleen Fay (Paul) of St. Peter, Patricia Boettcher (late Denis Boettcher) of Le Center, Sharon Adams of Eagan and Karen Callahan of Eden Prairie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Rochester Ronald McDonald House or Andreas Cancer Center in Mankato.
