With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo Norbert Bromenschenkel of Elysian, Minnesota, who passed away on March 23, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Bromenschenkel and Loretta Bromenschenkel (Feddema); his son Joseph Huiras; and his siblings, Roger, Kenneth, Victor, Edwina and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Brandel Huiras; his sons, Adam Huiras (Heather), Michael Huiras (Jennifer Saete), John Huiras (Tracie) and Paul Huiras (Elizabeth); his daughter-in-law Stacey Huiras; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Logan, Sophie, Benjamin, Isabel, Charlotte, Kate, Madison, Adriana and Allette; and his siblings, Gilbert Bromenschenkel (Doris), James Bromenschenkel, Rita Rassier, Jean Heltemes and Phyllis Thielmann (Lowell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Loyola Catholic Schools in Mankato or St. Mary's Catholic School in Sleepy Eye.
