It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Martin Coon of Elysian, Minnesota, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Coon and Ellen Coon (Nikl); his parents-in-law, Charles Cummins and Irene Cummins; his sisters, Bertha Morsching and Mary Ellen Schultz; his brothers-in-law, Melvin Morsching and Allan Quiram; his nieces, Connie McGuiggan and Katy Miller; and his nephew Tommy John Schultz.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason (Laurie) of Elysian, Jeffrey (Keri) of Elysian, Nathan (Jamie) of Elysian and Joseph (Kippy ValleJo) of Amarillo, TX; his wife Doris Cummins of Elysian; his grandchildren, Tyler, Hayley, Kiptyn, Dawson, Genevieve, Thomas, Wyatt and Patrick Coon; his siblings, Rochelle Miller (Roger) of Waseca, Dallas Tollefson of St. Matthews, SC and Randy Coon; his close friend Crystal Dalenzuela of Waterville; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Quiram of Janesville, Jeanne Jacobs (Steve) of Fergus Falls, Donald Cummins of Janesville, Fritz Cummins (Bonnie) of Waterville, Buzz Cummins (Eileen Hatchfeld) of Northfield, John Schultz of Squaw Lake and Greg Tollefson of Faribault. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
