He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Paris Pechek and Louis Pechek; his brother Tom; and his sister-in-law Nora. He is survived by: his daughter Jamie (Andy Linden); his grandchildren, Alex and Hailee; his brother Louis (Monica); his nieces, Shari and Michelle (Ken Madison); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexis (Nate Starke), Hannah and Andrew; his niece Kristy (Tony Cummings); his great-nieces, Chloe and Lucy; his great-nephew Tony; and his aunt Natalie DeGuisti. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He also headed the American Cancer Society Charity work for years.
